The Cultural Center of Tetovo continuously takes care of preserving the cultural and artistic values ​​of Albanians in the Republic of Macedonia. Now, transformed into a long-standing tradition, for a full 11 years, it organizes the Festival of Old Civic Songs “Teuta”.
In this festival, so far, various groups from many cities have performed, such as Tetovo, Gostivar, Skopje, Kicevo, Kumanovo, Struga, Pristina, Ferizaj, Gjilan, Gjakova, Prizren, Shkodra, Burreli, Elbasan, Peshkopia, Korça, Presheva and Ulcinj, bringing a warmth of songs that have been carefully preserved over decades and centuries and that have been very successfully presented to the Tetovo audience, who in most cases have been in one spirit with the singers on stage.
